Another disappointing Champions League campaign.

Throughout the match i never felt that Arsenal had a complete go at it. Give it a proper go, at least in the second half and whatever happens happens. I would honestly be disappointed if it was my club. This is the team that always qualifies for the champions league but never wins it...

There's no shame losing to Bayern, but of course this whole losing thing has been going on for some time with Arsenal, so the big picture remains a bit pathetic. Fouls that are not fouls, dives, crazy ref decisions - this is football. It's an imperfect game, they can go for and against you. Arsenal needed to be bold yesterday, and they weren't. Being bold might have led them to get beaten badly, or it could have brought glory.

In fact, the whole of the Arsenal team's passing was bitterly disappointing. It seems like the Bayern's high pressing has caused Arsenal way too much problems. But that's exactly why they are the best team in the world who won the CL last year and are expected to win it again this year. They are the team who demolished Barca last year. It's not Ozil's fault Arsenal are not at their level. This vitriol against one player is simply pathetic.

Wenger complaining as usual. Arsenal were soundly beaten over two legs and looking for excuses is why Arsenal are underachieving.

Let’s be honest, Bayern were superior for much of tuesday evening and had had this tie under their control since the first 15 minutes of the first leg when Wojciech Szczesny was sent off and Toni Kroos put them in the second half at Emirates Stadium.
